Our final step of putting the course to bed for the winter involves topdressing the greens.  This provides us with extra protection from hard winters such as last year.  It isn’t as good as tarping all of the greens but it is a cheap an inexpensive protective layer that could really save us going into the spring.  As you can see in the picture we are putting it down pretty thick to insure that we get good protection.
